Our perception of and experience with outside spaces, depends on continuous changing influences and dynamic interaction of elements as (day) light, wind, rain etc. In a landscape we never experience something as an obstacle. However an inside space has most of the time a certain closeness, created by walls. The modulating tree (wall/door) is not an obstacle, but a dynamic visual playground which will act as a (inner) landscape in it selves, and will leave a space closed and accessible at the same time.
